Soter, I'm struggling with integration of a firmware upgrade and my ship's control functions are locked. As soon as I find a workaround, I'll get in contact with you and render any assistance I can.

I couldn't honestly recommend such an action, given that the stations have functional defence turrets, but... yeah, I guess you could. What I'm saying is that it's possible, not that it's in any way a good idea.

... they're probably not going to answer them after you fruitlessly shoot at their stations, either. These aren't conquerable outposts - these are stations with empire-class shielding. They're utterly impregnable to subcapital weapons, and it seems like some SoE wormhole supression technology might still be active, because none of the wormholes are large enough to allow capital ships inside. You aren't going to accomplish anything by shooting them, and you'll probably put your pilots and their crews in unneccessary danger.
Please, just this once, take my advice? I'm not giving it for my benefit, after all.

So here's my take on the situation.
Sisters of EVE owes us a hell of a lot of answers. If Sisters of EVE asks for help, I'll provide it, regardless of whether they give us those answers, because as a Federal citizen it's my duty to assist people in need - but if I do help them, I'm damn well going to feel entitled to a little bit of illumination, whether or not it's forthcoming.
That goes for the rest of you, incidentally; help Sisters of EVE for whatever reason you feel provides you the neccessary motivation - national pride, duty to God, desire for fame, whatever - but remember that after all of this, the least the Sisters of EVE can give you in return is a little bit of clarity to ease the many mysteries we've had to endure over the past five years. You are sure as hell entitled to it.
